I have seen this re-posted by many and find it very worth sharing. I like the simple bill of rights format that California based Roots of Change has chosen highlights just how essential the quality of our food system is to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. This declaration was drafted in 2008 and I can not find the current status of it’s activity, but if you are interested in continuing it’s circulation or connecting with the authors, please peruse the Food Declaration website, read the original Slow Food press release, and/or check out Roots of Change.
